Erich Weiland started his second, 3-year term as the Geologist Member and is the newly-elected Chair of the Arizona Board of Technical Registration (AZBTR). AZBTR regulates 10 technical disciplines with over 35,000 individual registrants.
Erich last year joined Freeport McMoRan as Program Manager of Engineering where he is part of a 10-member team developing ways to improve processes at Freeport mines sites, including minimizing waste and reuse of waste materials.
